I received my B.A.Sc.(1963), M.A.Sc.(1965) and Ph.D.(1968)
degrees from the University of Toronto in Electrical Engineering.
I taught at the University of New Brunswick from 1967 to 1981,
when I joined McMaster University as a professor of Electrical
and Computer Engineering.
In 1972-3, I worked at CGE in Peterborough. I was a Visiting
Fellow at the University of Southhampton (1979-80), and at the
Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization,
Australia, and the Katholieke Universiteit, Belgium, both in 1988.
